OzFish Unlimited is an exciting NGO dedicated to helping the millions of Aussie recreational fishers take action for the health of their waterways and shore up the future of the sport they love. OzFish Unlimited partners with fishers and the broader community to invest resources into the protection and restoration of our waterways, counteracting decades of degradation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

OzFish is seeking an energetic Accounts & Admin Assistant for four days per week (30 hrs/wk, flexible days, can work school hours) to join our team based in Ballina, Northern Rivers.

Working as part of the OzFish HQ team, you will be responsible for:

• Finance Administration – entering invoices, member expense claims, and credit card related payments (data entry)
• Membership & Merch management – data entry & management, maintaining and ordering stock, uploading addresses to AusPost portal for shipping then pack and post out packs
• General administration duties - team travel bookings, supplier forms, general post processing, office logistics and safety (bin days etc)

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone enthusiastic with the following key skills: :

• Attention to detail and systems orientated thinking
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Experience or training in accounts payable
• Ability to take instruction and learn systems/processes quickly
• Adept in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Outlook
• Current driver's license and suitable vehicle for local travel

It would be a bonus if you had:

• Administration and/or Bookeeping qualifications
• Experience with Xero accounting software
• Membership management software experience
• Office logistics management experience
