OzHarvest is a leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. Through our education programs and our advocacy work, we hope to inspire others to change their behaviour and help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030.

About the role:

To keep our wheels turning and prevent food waste, we rely on the support of the community, corporations, funders, and friends of our cause. The Adelaide Engagement Coordinator plays a crucial role in fostering opportunities that help us achieve our mission and nourish our country. As an Engagement Coordinator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Fostering a positive and collaborative culture that aligns with our values and purpose.
• Supporting the City Manager in delivering corporate engagement activities across the state.
• Providing input on the state corporate engagement strategy based on your experience and relationships.
• Welcoming and building deeper relationships with corporations when they engage with OzHarvest activations.
• Educating customers about our program offerings and cross-selling program opportunities.
• Developing and administering the Cooking For A Cause program.
• Representing OzHarvest in media and branding opportunities, promoting our mission and vision to the wider community.
• And plenty more!

To be successful:

• 2 + years of sales and account management experience.
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
• Hands-on experience in sales and the ability to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Results-orientated team player.
• Demonstrated project management and problem-resolution skills.
• Strategic approach to researching, generating leads, cold calling and following sales processes.
• Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (Salesforce and MS Excel in particular).
