ParaQuad is a not-for-profit organisation with a history of over 60 years of providing key services to people with spinal cord injuries or similar related health conditions. Our accommodation services at Ferguson Lodge has provided community-based accommodation and support for people with spinal cord injury since 1979. We provide a home for 34 people with spinal injuries across our Lodge and Villa accommodation.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic Facility Coordinator to be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of non-clinical services within Ferguson Lodge including the kitchen, laundry, cleaning and maintenance of our property. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the day to day responsibilities of the property to ensure that the site runs smoothly;
• Oversight and management of the kitchen, laundry, cleaning staff and contractors;
• Liaise with residents and staff regarding any concerns or requests in regards to non-clinical services or equipment;
• Maintain and update registers of all approved contractors, maintenance schedules, equipment and work orders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Highly organised with excellent time management skills
• Initiative, flexibility and a calm manner
• Ability to work independently and liaise with a large number of stakeholders
• Experience in coordinating accommodation or property sites, disability or aged care support management or similar
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills
• Excellent computers skills
