- Palm Beach Neighbourhood Centre is seeking dynamic leader to manage the day to day operations of a busy neighbourhood centre.
- Work up to 35hrs per week Mon to Fri overseeing awesome community programs in a beautiful Gold Coast suburb.
- This is a hands-on role and will include client and community participation and engagement.
Have you got experience in managing service delivery programs and service delivery activities?
- Are you skilled in brief interventions which may include provision of emergency relief, financial or social inclusion?
- Are you able to communicate professionally with community stakeholders?
- Are you able to provide dynamic leadership and manage day to day operations of a busy centre?
About you
To be successful for this role you will be an energetic team leader who has exceptional people skills. You will need strong time-management and organisational capabilities and be able to manage multiple priorities. Our ideal applicant will have experience managing a busy service, working through a community development framework and have a demonstrated passion for improving the lives of marginalised people.
Selection Criteria

Possession of an appropriate tertiary qualification in social welfare/ social work or human services, and preferably three years’ additional experience at a supervisory level.

Are you able to provide dynamic leadership and manage day to day operations of a busy centre?
- Have you got experience in supervising caseworkers and counsellors?
- Are you skilled in brief interventions which may include provision of emergency relief, financial or social inclusion?
- Highly developed written communication skills, including the ability to prepare detailed reports and submissions.
- Experience and skills to work with volunteers
- National Police Clearance, Blue Card and Open driving licence
As a NFP, we offer a $15,900 tax free salary component.
