A Senior Activities Officer has a varied and flexible role, coordinating sport activities and events at the Club. About the Club

PCYC Tweed Heads is a multi -purpose youth & community recreation Centre offering over 20 different sport, recreation and fitness activities, a range of youth development programs, and OOSH after school kids care.

With a state-of-the-art Gym & Fitness facility, multi-purpose sports court, boxing & functional training area, we’ve got something for everyone!

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Tweed Heads team to provide positive experiences to young people. In this varied and flexible role, classified as Senior Activities Officer under our Enterprise Agreement, you will be coaching and guiding young people, and:

  • Drive a team to deliver fun, interactive, engaging and safe activities and programs
  • Program lessons
  • Provide customer service and administration duties

About You

Are you a passionate person and have flexibility to work afternoons and evenings, school holidays and weekends? As well as,

  • Certificate IV in Fitness (Minimum)
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Do you have skills and experience in coordinating programs and coaching?
  • Do you have a coaching accreditation or working towards attaining a coaching accreditation?
  • Do you possess strong computer literacy and administration experience?
  • Are you a reliable and trustworthy person for the care of young people?
  • Are you a positive role model, collaborative and team orientated?
  • Do you have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills?
  • Do you have experience in working with children, building relationships and customer service?
