Do you want to help a leading not-for-profit grow its membership base, boost product sales, and expand its donor network? PCYC NSW is looking for a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in driving our marketing efforts, ensuring brand consistency, and delivering innovative campaigns that engage communities and stakeholders to increase impact on the youth of NSW.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will focus on developing and executing marketing strategies to meet business and fundraising objectives. You will create and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns, using both digital and traditional channels, to grow PCYC’s membership base, product sales, and donor engagement. This includes everything from crafting compelling ad copy and designing marketing collateral, to analysing campaign performance and optimising for success.

You will work closely with teams across the organisation, including fundraising, digital, events, and local PCYC clubs, to ensure that all marketing efforts align with our brand and strategic objectives. As a key player in the Marketing team, you will be responsible for maintaining brand governance, promoting events, and supporting local area marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy: Support the implementation of strategies to achieve membership, product sales, and donor engagement.
  • Campaign Management: Develop and deliver integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Brand Governance: Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Event Support: Collaborate with teams to promote events and initiatives.
  • Reporting & Research: Analyse market trends and report on marketing performance against industry benchmarks.

ABOUT US

Established in 1937, PCYC NSW is a life changing charity collaborating in partnership with communities and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life and reduce and prevent youth crime. We have sixty-six clubs and eighteen OOSH services across NSW, with a vision for significant growth.

Our aim is to engage with and positively influence over 70,000 youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership, and cultural programs. We also work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, vocational education, youth capacity building and social responsibility programs to enhance the life direction and outcomes of over 7,500 youth per year.

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced marketing professional with a passion for creating successful campaigns. Your skills span both digital and traditional channels, and you are adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You have a strategic mindset, strong copywriting skills, and experience in delivering integrated marketing campaigns.

YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Degree qualification in marketing or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and experience with digital marketing platforms like Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong copywriting and project management skills.
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
