  • $54.50 - $58.63 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

We are currently searching for an energetic and supportive Program Manager to join our Project Booyah program at PCYC Queensland. This position has the flexibility to be based at one of our PCYC clubs within Brisbane (subject to availability). If you have a passion for giving back to your community, we want you!

The ‘Booyah Youth Program’ is a QLD Police, Youth Leadership and Mentor Program that utilises adventure-based learning of valuable skills to help at risk of disengagement young people make better life choices. Your New Role

The Program Manager (Project Booyah) is responsible for the effective and efficient management of Booyah and RESPECT Programs. While ensuring program delivery outcomes are met, the role is also responsible for ensuring effective program/service support, administrative services, systems compliance and involves liaising closely with Queensland Police Service in relation to continual program delivery and expansion.  If this sounds like you, download our Position Description to learn more. 

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline and/or at least 4 years’ experience in program/project management, preferably in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities, partnerships and strategic relationships.
  • Project and program management experience. 
  • Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Holds a current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Holds a current driver’s licence, eligible to obtain an RDA if required.
  • Ability to travel across QLD as required.

Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
