What You Will Be Doing

The Lead, Fundraising and Development is an integral leadership position in the Corporate Communications & Philanthropy (CCP) department at Peninsula Health.

Reporting to the Director, CCP, the role will lead on delivering the organisation's Philanthropy Strategy. It is also expected to lead and inspire the team, while delivering on fundraising targets, growing partnerships and maintaining ROI. The role is also responsible for procuring major gifts and bequests, managing the department's budget and delivering on all direct mail campaigns. This role is classified as HS6 under the Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful fundraising campaigns, delivering against agreed revenue targets, ROI, KPIs and managing budgets
  • Experience in a senior fundraising role with a successful record in income generation
  • Ability to ‘make the ask’ for gifts of $10,000 or more
  • Ability to manage and inspire a team, and when required, act autonomously
