The Access and Assessment Team (AAT) is a multidisciplinary community based team providing an assertive comprehensive Assessment and Brief Intervention service; incorporating Telephone Triage (formally CATT) and Police, Ambulance & Clinician Early Response (PACER). The initial telephone assessment determines the urgency and nature of the AAT response. Whilst AAT predominately caters to the needs of adults (above 16), after hours services covers all age ranges. AAT work closely with the Emergency Department, Victorian Police and other Emergency Services to provide quality care to our clients.
As a Senior member of this multidisciplinary team your skills will be utilised across all areas of the team; Assessment, Telephone Triage and working alongside Victoria Police as a PACER clinician. You will receive support, supervision, a comprehensive orientation program, study leave, professional development opportunities and work across a 7 day rotating roster.
