The Anglican Social Responsibilities Commission initiates and facilitates education which informs and supports social justice advocacy in the community, worshipping communities, schools and agencies. We develop and implement advocacy strategies targeting church, government, business and non-government sectors.

We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a talented and dynamic individual who wants to be part of a team that is actively working towards advocating for social justice and tackling environmental issues. Reporting to the Chairperson of the Social Responsibilities Commission, you will play a key role in facilitating the Commission’s engagement with both church and non-church communities.
This role provides an opportunity to work with parish advocates and develop strategies to inform social justice and environmental issues.
You are a skilled individual with a passion for social justice and the environment.
You are a practising Christian and an active communicant in the Anglican Church. You will possess a general knowledge of the life and structures of the Anglican church and can demonstrate basic theological understanding.
Your skills and experience in a similar role are highly desired. Previous exposure in a community-based organisations will also be a bonus.
