Nyamal Aboriginal Corporation was established in 2018 as the prescribed body corporate for the Nyamal native title holders. The core objectives of the Corporation are to:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for implementing the Boards policies, decisions, and directions for the overall management of the Corporation’s operations and for supporting and promoting strategic development and growth.
A key requirement will be delivering on the Nyamal Strategic Plan and implementation of a new expanded organisation structure. The incumbent will provide leadership and direction for Management in administering the Corporation’s resources and liaise with relevant State and Federal government departments, mining and resources companies and other stakeholders with regard to relevant matters.
The CEO will give direction in sourcing and applying for funding from relevant government departments and the private sector. In addition, the CEO will lead the negotiations for ILUA’s, Heritage Protection Agreements and other agreements with Nyamal as the Registered Native Title Body Corporate.

As the CEO of Nyamal Aboriginal Corporation, you will encompass strong leadership capabilities gained through your experience working in executive level positions. You will be culturally responsive and have a key understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. You will be a strong stakeholder manager, with key relational skills where you can work across multiple levels of government, while communicating with communities in WA.
As CEO, you will manage financial resources, safeguard corporation funds, ensure compliance with legislation and policy, allocate and maintain work tools, and responsibly manage assets. This role will report directly to the Board; experience in governance and working with a board of directors is required.
