If you’re an experienced event manager able to seamlessly manage the execution, delivery and marketing of events, we want to hear from you! During this part-time contract role you will deliver our major in-person conference and a number of engaging online events.
Planet Ark is searching for an energetic and passionate Events Manager to join our team. You'll be responsible for planning, executing, and promoting events in support of the Australian Circular Economy Hub (ACE Hub). Reporting to our Head of Circular Economy Development this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional with a love for events and a working knowledge of sustainability and the environment.
This role will see you hit the ground running, working with the ACE Hub to deliver our flagship conference, Circularity. Our new ACE Hub activities will offer a chance to use your skills in online event design, hosting and management to come to the fore too. This will include webinars, online meetings, networking events, workshops, etc.
Your skills in communication and marketing of events will be welcomed as you create, implement and manage event-related marketing plans and communication deliverables. You will work with the communications team to develop and produce a range of resources to support these events.
This is a part-time 5-month contract position with the possibility of extension, working 3 days, 22.5 hours per week. The salary range for this role is $42,000 per annum + super and benefits.
