About the opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our Health System Improvement business unit as Manager – Digital Transformation. This position leads the Digital Transformation team who play a vital role in delivering Primary Health Tasmania’s Digital Health Strategy.

In a contemporary health system Digital innovation is key to supporting evidence based clinical decision making, person-centred and coordinated health care delivery for Tasmanians. At a system level it enables improvement through better understanding of patient journeys and actionable insights to inform targeted interventions and system improvement initiatives.

What you would be doing

Reporting to the General Manager – Health System Improvement, your focus will be:

  • accountability for implementation and ongoing evolution of Primary Health Tasmania’s Digital Health Strategy
  • maintaining effective and productive stakeholder relationships with jurisdictional and national digital health stakeholders to ensure coordination and collaboration in digital health initiatives in Tasmania
  • overseeing and contributing to the design and implementation of digital health capability and innovation initiatives in Tasmania
  • providing value driven leadership and operational management of the Digital Transformation team.

Here's what you’ll look like

  • Qualifications in digital health, health informatics or related field
  • High level knowledge, skills, and experience in developing, applying, and evaluating digital transformation initiatives in a primary health care setting.
  • Contemporary team leadership, project and change management capabilities.
  • Able to drive targeted engagement and collaboration with stakeholders.
