As the Director of Client Services, you will work in the Executive Leadership Team to guide, lead and oversee Facilitators, Mentors, Coordinators, and Volunteers concerning the delivery of evidence-based, trauma-informed client programs, which you will design to ensure the highest standards of provision across the organisation.

The Director of Client Services is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the successful reintegration of individuals into the community following periods of incarceration. This role involves developing, implementing, and coordinating programs that support individuals in achieving independence, stability, and integration into their communities. As a key executive team member, the Director of Client Services will work closely with the CEO and the Director of Development to align organisational strategies and enhance community engagement efforts.

Drawing upon your background within the community sector, paired with your experience in legislation, policies and procedures impacting the delivery of reintegration programs, you will thrive in this role as you Provide:

• Program Development: Implement Mates for Life employment program. Design and implement community reintegration programs tailored to the needs of individuals transitioning from incarceration.
• Assessment and Planning: Conduct assessments to identify individuals' needs and goals. Develop personalised reintegration plans in collaboration with individuals, their families, and relevant stakeholders.
• Resource Coordination: Connect individuals with community resources, including housing, employment, education, healthcare, and social services.
• Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals during their transition, ensuring access to necessary services and support.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to individuals, families, and community organisations to facilitate successful reintegration.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Track the progress of individuals in reintegration programs, evaluate outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with local agencies, organisations, and community members to promote awareness and foster partnerships that support reintegration efforts.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on program outcomes, challenges, and successes to management and stakeholders.
• High-Level Management: Oversee the day-to-day client service functions of the organisation
• Strategic Advice: Contribute as part of the Executive Leadership Team to improve operational functions
• Assistance in the development of policies and procedures to enhance corporate and operational functions
• Compliance with the legislative, regulatory, disability, and community care standards are upheld.
• Monitoring and Analysis: Conduct In-depth analysis of data and produce reports on performance, measuring against set quality standards and indicators
• Facilitation: Coordinate stakeholder meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience in community service, social work, or a related field, particularly with marginalised populations.
• Strong understanding of community resources and support systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong advocacy skills and a commitment to empowering individuals in their reintegration journey.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in community reintegration.

Work Environment:

This position may involve working in various settings, including community organisations, incarceration centres, and business facilities. Occasional travel may be required.
