Queensland Lived Experience Workforce Network (QLEWN) is a state-wide peak body established by, with, and for the Lived Experience workforce within the mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and suicide prevention sectors. It was created with a clear vision of providing systems advocacy and sector leadership, as well as opportunities for ongoing professional development of the Lived Experience workforce in Queensland. QLEWN recognises that Lived Experience includes direct (consumer) and/or family/kinship (carer) experiences.
This newly established Program Manager position is a pivotal role for QLEWN and will work closely with the Management Committee to identify and deliver on key operational priorities with a focus on progressing the strategic objectives; organisational growth and securing recurrent operational funding. You can expect this role to be hands on operationally with broad responsibilities that encompass program management and project coordination; workforce development; systems advocacy; stakeholder engagement; and high-level administrative support.
This is a twelve-month fixed term contract, with potential for this to become an ongoing senior leadership position. Some regional travel may be required in order to engage with relevant stakeholders state-wide.
MHLEPQ will auspice this position on behalf of QLEWN until 30 June 2025, at which point the role and employee entitlements will transition to QLEWN. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the MHLEPQ team from their Spring Hill office location with hybrid work arrangements available.
