We cooperate with, and where possible assist the work of other medical research institutions within the State and globally.
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Research Program, provide support and leadership to research involving First Nations Australians. The program supports researchers explore the capacity for their work to benefit the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The program is principally responsible for coordination of a suite of research, workforce development, communication and governance strategies. Consultation, engagement, partnership and co-design with stakeholders and regional champions, form a large part of our work.
This position reports to the Manager for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Research. This position is responsible for working cohesively as part of a cross institutional, multi-sectorial, and multi-disciplinary team to co-design, plan, coordinate, deliver, evaluate, and report activities relating to the “Communication for Mental Health” project.

Salary range is $112,001 to $120,769 FTE ($67,200 to $72,461 - 0.6FTE) p.a. plus super, plus very attractive salary packaging. This is a part-time 0.6FTE appointment until 31 December 2026.
