We are looking for a Program Manager for Queensland Positive People’s RAPID HIV and STI Testing Program.
Queensland Positive People (QPP) is a peer-led, community-based organisation committed to improving the lives of all people living with HIV and helping reduce new transmissions of HIV and STIs across Queensland. We provide programs and services including peer support and navigation; peer HIV and STI prevention and testing; HIV treatment and management; living and ageing well with HIV; together with legal support and advocacy around stigma and discrimination; and community education. We are also actively involved in research.
The program is a peer-led community-based HIV, syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhoea sexual health screening and health promotion service in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley. Outreach testing is also carried out to sex on premises venues, university campuses and English language schools. We also deliver a mail-out HIV self-testing program, and HIV test vending machines.
