The Strategic Partnerships Manager plays a crucial role in cultivating and stewarding relationships with government funders, trusts and foundations, high net worth individuals, sponsors (both in-kind and monetary) and corporate partners, as well as designing and guiding one-off/bespoke fund-raising initiatives. This position uses data insights to tailor communications and proposals, demonstrating the impact of supporters’ generosity.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the role develops and executes the donor relationship strategy, develops ongoing processes, forecasts income streams, and reports against defined KPIs.

Additionally, the role requires:

• Build ongoing relationships that deliver funding opportunities
• Develop tailored proposals and pitch to donors/funders
• Identify market trends and opportunities for growth
• Source, calendarise, prepare and follow up grant applications and acquittal program and report against agreed milestones through each stage of funds delivery.
• Develops and manages a bequest program

Skills Required

• Highly organised
• Formulation of strategies to raise funds from all sectors listed above.
• Experience in developing a fund-raising budget (both revenue and associated costs) and reporting against budget, including reports to the Board (via the CEO).
• Clear relationship establishment and maintenance experience – understanding what each stakeholder’s requirements are and aligning offerings to meet their criteria.

This role will be supported by the CEO and other key personnel focussing on high-net-worth individuals/foundation.

Remuneration

Based on 3 days per week, a base of $60,000 - $70,000 plus commission is anticipated subject to experience.
