ABOUT THE ROLE

The State Election Materials Officer will work closely with the Candidates and Teams to support the Queensland Greens’ rollout of the campaign strategy and meet campaign goals. The person will work under the ultimate oversight of the Queensland Greens State Director as part of the staff team at the Campaign Office. Experience working with people from all backgrounds in a friendly manner is a must. You will have experience developing internal communications that brings multiple stakeholders onto the same page to deliver large logistical projects.

GOALS OF THE ROLE

• To participate in the campaign team and organise and deliver key materials to state candidates in a timely manner
• To support the functions of the campaign office.

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Experience working in a similar and successful role previously
• Have relevant experience with software packages used internally by the Party
• Experience in working in complex organisational structures
• Experience in bringing teams together to achieve desired outcomes
• Experience with and skills in conflict resolution
• A commitment to Green politics and processes including consensus decision making
• Commitment to the Greens charter and policies including an understanding of internal structures and processes

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a point of contact for local campaigns across the state for materials ordering, production and distribution
• Coordinate materials production with suppliers in a cost effective and timely manner
• Coordinate materials distribution with suppliers in a cost effective and timely manner
• Support the administrative functions of the campaign office
• All other duties as required
