Your new role

  • Full time Ongoing
  • Located at Deakin, ACT or Wagga Wagga, NSW
  • Annual Salary between $103,579.91 to $109,561.91

The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing high-quality and streamlined operations of the RACR centres and outreach sites. With a focus on client service and experience, the Practice Manager will coordinate service-wide application of systems to support the needs of the multidisciplinary teams.

Duties:

In consultation with the Executive Director Practice and Clinical Governance, the Practice Manager is responsible for:

  • Oversee the day-to-day practice operations of the Client Service Officers and Facilities Officer.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of a safe and health workplace; attend the Emergency Control Group meetings.
  • Responsible for Client Service Officer recruitment and oversight of rosters, including annual leave cover.
  • Liaise closely with the Finance team to coordinate accounts receivable and payable and debt prevention activities.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Qualifications such as a Graduate Certificate in Health Management / Health Leadership and Management or Diploma in Practice Management and/or demonstrated experience in a practice management role in a medical or client service environment, including financial management, accounting systems and reporting processes.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership, operational and human resource management to implement change and achieve high quality outcomes in a diverse service.
  • Previous experience in a management and/or high-level practice administrative position.
  • Demonstrated experience in client management systems/practice software and Office 365 software systems.
