Your new role

  • Permanent, part time. 22.5 hours or 3 days per week
  • Located at Deakin, ACT
  • Annual full time salary between $91,586.55 to $92,889.37

The role will support the Quality and Risk Manager in maintaining and improving the organisation’s quality and risk management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards including the Child Safe and Accreditation Standards.

Duties:

Under the direction of the Quality and Risk Manager, the Quality and Compliance Officer is responsible for:

  • Assisting with the maintenance of the QMS, including quality planning, implementation, and reporting.
  • Assisting with accreditation and quality assurance activities, including quality measurement and maintaining the Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Maintaining Compliance Management processes, including the Compliance Register and monitoring legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting policy development and consultation processes, including the drafting of RACR submissions and policy papers, and collaborating with policy owners to draft and update organisational policies in accordance with the policy development framework.

What you’ll need to succeed

  1. Experience in quality, compliance or policy administration.
  2. Good planning and time management skills and able to manage multiple priorities.
  3. Strong process, analytical and writing skills with attention to accuracy.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
