The purpose of this position is to deliver comprehensive group training to Resilience Leaders and Community Care givers as a part of the Mental Health for Bushfire Affected Australians – Community Wellbeing & Participation project/program.
In this position you will assist the RANSW Resilience Project Coordinator to develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships, critical to the program’s success.
Stage 1: In stage 1 of the project you will deliver training to Community Resilience Leaders across designated locations in the Central Coast and Hunter Region of NSW (Community Leaders & Frontline Workers) who will then return to their communities to deliver the training to Community Care Givers in Bushfire affected communities.
Stage 2: In stage 2 you will support the Community Resilience leaders to return to their communities and deliver bespoke community resilience workshops for Youth-Schools, Older people at retirement villages, senior citizens clubs, Aboriginal & Torres Strait islander people at Identified & mainstream services.
