What you'll do
As the Team Leader for our Children’s Contact Service (CCS), you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective management of the program. Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will provide leadership, supervision, and direct service delivery where needed.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing a casual workforce, managing client cases, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed services to families.
You’ll also support children through court-ordered contact visits, work with complex client needs, and guide your team through service delivery and compliance processes.
You’ll:
- Complete assessments for families with court-ordered contact arrangements
- Manage intake procedures for families navigating complex issues
- Supervise, train, and onboard a casual workforce, ensuring staff are well-supported and motivated
- Provide orientation for children aged 0–17 in preparation for contact visits
- Facilitate changeover sessions where children safely transition between parents
- Respond to subpoenas, ensuring confidentiality through redaction and reporting
- Balance administrative duties with direct client service delivery to support effective team functioning
The details
- Permanent part-time role based in Blacktown
- 4 days a week

What you'll bring
- Qualifications and/or demonstrated competencies in supervision, couple or family therapy, family dispute resolution, mediation, counselling, group work, workplace training, psychotherapy, case management
- Strong experience working with families and children in a post separation or child protection context
- Demonstrated competence and understanding of working within a trauma informed framework
- Collaborative team player who fosters a supportive environment, motivating and empowering peers and junior staff to excel
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, and support a team, including training and onboarding staff
