The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (the College) is the peak body for advancing patient care and clinical excellence in clinical radiology and radiation oncology. The College is responsible for driving appropriate, high quality and safe use of medical imaging and radiation oncology through training, assessment and accreditation of radiologists and radiation oncologists, maintenance of quality and standards, and strategies to ensure the workforce is sufficient to support population needs in Australia and New Zealand.

This is a newly created opportunity for an experienced Programs Officer, Accreditation to join our dedicated Workforce Unit to coordinate and support the development and implementation of best-practice strategies, processes, schedules and standards to underpin and support the effective and efficient evaluation, quality assurance and accreditation of specialty training sites and networks, as well as International Medical Graduate upskilling sites – in line with Australian Medical Council and Medical Council of New Zealand requirements.

In this role you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders (including the Manager, Accreditation) to collect and analyse relevant information to create accurate reporting, attend relevant site visits to help inform refinement and implementation of procedures and processes, maintain and update policies and guidelines and work closely with several committees to support their work plans. As a key contact within the College for site communication relating to accreditation, you will respond in a timely manner to requests for information. 

You present as a skilled communicator adept at managing multiple levels of stakeholders. You are known for your project management and program support capabilities and have a proven track record meeting deadlines and working collaboratively. You thrive in a complex environment where you can use your analytical and problem-solving skills. You are a proven strategic thinker, who can maintain a high calibre of work and maintain confidentiality  whilst working with sensitive information.
