Admin and Project Coordinator

Rare Find Foundation is a South Australian-based charity organisation, operating nationally and dedicated to supporting children, adults and their families affected by rare diseases across Australia.

We are seeking an Admin and Project Coordinator for ∼15-20 hours a month to provide support across various areas of our operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of initiatives, coordinating events and fundraising efforts, and overseeing marketing and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with families we support in a sensitive and considered manner
  • Provide end-to-end coordination and support for Foundation events, including our annual High Tea, Ambrose Golf Day, and other fundraisers as required
  • Plan, create, and schedule monthly social media content for Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Provide support for community fundraiser events, including creating and supplying necessary collateral, coordinate donations / fundraising items
  • Creation and moderation of fundraising platforms where required
  • Undertake basic maintenance and updates of the website and Google Business listing
  • Monitor the organisation's mailbox and calendar
  • Support with monthly reconciliation
  • Ad-hoc errands as required

Experience

  • A background in administration, with experience working on and supporting with projects and/or events
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technologically savvy
  • A passion for supporting the community and motivation to make a difference in the lives of others
  • Ability to connect and build trusting relationships
  • A current police clearance and Working With Children (Volunteer) clearance, or willingness to obtain
