This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner at our regional Shepparton centre to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV).

About the role

Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for providing family dispute resolution (FDR) to families by assisting to resolve issues in dispute such as parenting arrangements and property settlements. The role is also responsible for undertaking assessments, group work (as required) and providing information, support and referral to match presenting needs to services and programs.

Great opportunity for a family dispute resolution professional seeking permanent, part-time employment working three (3) days per week (Monday 9am to 5pm, Tuesday 12noon to 8pm and Wednesday 9am to 5pm). This position is based at our centre in Shepparton.

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in social sciences, social work, law or psychology.
  • Successful completion of the Vocational Graduate Diploma in Dispute Resolution.
  • Demonstrated previous experience as a family dispute resolution practitioner (advantageous).
  • Registration as an FDRP under the Accreditation Rules or on the Register of FDRP maintained by the Attorney-General’s Department for eligibility immediately, and
  • Experience or training in property as well as willingness to undertake training (advantageous).

A competitive salary package is on offer to the successful candidate with a base salary range of $88k-$90k (pro-rata) per annum, superannuation and access to salary packaging.
