About THE ROLE

Relationships Australia Victoria are a leading provider of Men’s Behaviour Change Programs in Victoria. As part of the state government’s integrated framework of response to family violence, and compliance with the MBCP minimum standards of quality practice, you will facilitate and deliver family violence group programs to men who have used violent and controlling behaviours.

This is a great casual opportunity for skilled individuals seeking work outside of normal office hours, as groups are usually facilitated at night, Groups are facilitated in offsite venues located in the Shepparton area. Facilitators are expected to be involved in planning and debriefing related to the delivery of the group. To complete timely and accurate notes related to interactions with participants.

The hourly rate is between $62.25 to $66.73 per hour.

About you

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in Social Work, or a related field.
  • Graduate certificate in Client Assessment and Case Management or Family Violence (preferable).
  • Previous experience facilitating to groups of similar content in Community Sector.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the men’s behaviour change process and the gendered nature of family violence and commitment to living non-violently.
  • Commitment to enhancing the safety of women and children who have experienced family violence.
