About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Western Melbourne, your responsibilities include provision of clinical supervision and support to other Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) practitioners, and to provide FDR services to separating parents, including arrangements for children, property and finances and support for parents with separation issues, all within a limited time frame.

This involves conflict resolution, parent education and negotiation as well as support to make decisions that resolve practical matters and strengthen relationships in families, while assisting clients to avoid court proceedings where possible.

This role is located at Sunshine Family Relationship Centre and is a permanent, full-time position. The base salary range is $118k-$122k per annum.

About you

• Accreditation and registration with the Attorney-General’s Department as a FDRP under the Accreditation Rules in Regulations 5 and 6 Family Law (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners Practitioners) Regulations 2008.
• Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution or equivalent qualifications in Conflict Resolution.
• Previous experience with FDR, family law mediation and/or dispute resolution, with experience managing complex cases including assessment and screening for family violence and other risks.
• Experience in providing supervision to FDR practitioners.
• Experience with property and finance mediation (preferable).
