As a large organisation that continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated Speech Pathologist to join our supportive team of allied health professionals to deliver high quality therapy services.

About the role:

The role of a Clinical Advisor involves communicating relevant treatment strategies for customers to primary therapists and/or supervising advanced clinicians, Recommending additional clinical training needs for therapists with their respective advanced clinicians and aligning with Rocky Bay values to effectively and independently manage areas of complexity and/or risk within their Clinical speciality area (Speech Pathology).

Services are delivered flexibly across the Perth metropolitan area or within a clients’ home, school or community.

To be successful for this position you will demonstrate:

  • Bachelor of Communication Science (Speech Pathologist) or approved equivalent
  • Completion of relevant training to deliver high quality, efficient, contemporary best practice services within the Clinical Domain area
  • Registration with the Governing body (SPA)
  • Experience working in the disability sector, particularly working with youths and adults
  • Minimum of five years’ experience with at least three years’ experience in a neuro rehabilitation role
  • Understanding of person/family centred planning principles
  • Well-developed oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Disability Services Standards and Occupational Safety and Health legislation
  • Current Flu (Influenza) Vaccination or willingness to obtain one
  • Current C Class driver’s licence
