The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation is seeking a skilled and passionate administrator to support the ongoing success of our organisation. The RCH Foundation is the fundraising arm of the RCH, one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals, and has the vital role of raising, investing, and distributing donated funds to the hospital. As part of this, the RCH Foundation supports a vast network of donors and fundraisers.
The Office Administrator will be central to the success of the RCH Foundation and support the entire organisation through a range of administrative duties, as well as being the first point of contact for a number of donors and key stakeholders. To be successful in this role you must have proven experience in a similar Office Administration position. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and will be professional and customer service focused when interacting with all internal and external stakeholders.
You will have the ability to multitask, experience in handling confidential information, have the ability to work autonomously and have good project coordination skills.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
- Demonstrated experience in a busy office with thorough understanding of office administration
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with sensitive information
- Customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to liaise effectively with a broad range of people
- Demonstrated experience in database systems, and high level computer skills and attention to detail
- Verbal and written communication skills of a high standard
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Clear understanding of and personal commitment to the mission and values of the RCH Foundation
Desirable
- Knowledge of Salesforce database
- Experience in the delivery of meetings, events and conferences, including assisting with the organisation of locations, catering and stakeholders
- Basic bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of and experience of working in the not-for-profit sector
