About Us:

Full Stop Australia (Full Stop) is a not for profit organisation, operating nationally, but based in Sydney's Inner West. Our mission is to put a full stop to sexual, domestic and family violence and to support those who have been impacted by violence and abuse. We also offer best-practice training and professional services to support safe and respectful workplaces, and advocate for changes to laws, policies, and practices to better prevent and respond to sexual, domestic and family violence.

About the Role:

The purpose of this role is to provide excellent quality professional development programs to organisational staff and to external agencies.

This position requires excellent presentation and facilitation skills, knowledge of adult learning principles, the highest levels of professionalism and ethical behaviour.

This is a casual position with a requirement to deliver a minimum of twelve training sessions per year and attend trainer meetings every two months.

About You:

You will be someone who is engaging, positive and motivational with excellent presentation and facilitation skills in face to face and digital environments.

You will have an awareness of the multiple factors that can influence individual participants’ responses to training and will have experience in similar facilitation roles.

You will also have extensive knowledge, skills, and experience in the following areas:

  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate feminist perspectives within training programs.
  • Social Work, Psychology, Education, Counselling degree or equivalent.
  • For trainers delivering clinical content, a minimum three years’ experience in a direct therapeutic service delivery role for people who have been traumatised, and for trainers delivering training in primary prevention of sexual violence, three years relevant education experience.
  • Detailed understanding of the causes and consequences of sexual assault and domestic violence.
  • High level computer literacy skills.
  • Experience managing group dynamics in a training context.
  • An understanding of, and commitment to the values of Full Stop Australia and the work we do.
