The Community Development Coordinator is responsible for Reservoir Neighbourhood House community events, holistic wellbeing measures, and outreach programs.

Reservoir Neighbourhood House Inc. is an incorporated community development enterprise registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. We provide a welcome community space which fosters the prosperity and wellbeing of local residents with a focus on employment, health, and social connection.

Selection criteria

Essential selection criteria include:

• Community consultation and development experience, including the ability to manage staff and volunteers.
• Event management experience within a similar context.
• Ability to operate within a dynamic environment focused on meeting diverse community needs.
• Demonstrated ability to relate – and respond directly – to people in need.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated organisation and time management skills, the ability to operate independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Awareness of occupational health and safety and risk assessment requirements within comparable environments.

Desirable selection criteria include:

• A thorough understanding of contemporary community development principles.
• Tertiary qualifications focused on community development, social work, or similar.
