The Organisation

Proudly serving Australians since 1928, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides emergency aeromedical and allied health services for people in rural and remote Australia. Working closely with the Dental Management Team, the Program Support Officer - Dental will take a hands-on approach to various administrative and project related tasks including managing patient appointment bookings, travel and accommodation logistics, stores ordering, processing of invoices, reporting, liaising with various stakeholder groups and other ad hoc duties as required.

About You

  • With an already established background in administration or program support, you are organised with a keen eye for detail and take pride in the quality of your work
  • You consistently provide amazing customer service to patients and other stakeholders
  • You have excellent computer skills and are able to grasp new systems and programs quickly and with ease (especially Microsoft Office)
  • Attitude is everything – you approach daily tasks with a positive outlook and are willing to learn and contribute to the team
  • You’re a problem solver and have experience with troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • You possess a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation
  • You understand the importance of organisations like RFDS and are able to demonstrate a community minded approach to your work.

  • Exposure to Medicare billing is a bonus, but not essential.

If this sounds like the opportunity you’ve been looking for and you’re passionate about making a difference to the lives of regional and rural Victorians, then send through a copy of your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.

Please note applicants must have full, unrestricted Australian working rights and will be required to provide a satisfactory police check and Victorian WWCC if successful.
