When people talk about the Flying Doctor, thoughts generally turn to red-bellied planes undertaking rescue missions in the Outback. However, the current Victorian story is one that reflects today's challenges for people living in remote and rural communities across the state. While we do still transport people by air and by road, this work is complemented by a range of primary health services that address the most common issues people living in country Victoria face when accessing health care.
Our services:
RFDS Victoria's Corporate Services team is responsible for delivering enterprise-wide functions that deliver business support service based on specialised knowledge, best practice and technology to serve our internal customers in the delivery of departmental strategic objectives.
The team delivers specialist analysis and advice to inform department decision making. It also provides quality assurance controls through key corporate functions such as financial and risk management and oversight of the organisation's Quality Management System.
Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Services, the Manager Quality, Risk & Compliance is responsible for working to continuously enhance the maturity of RFDS VIC's organisational wide quality, risk and compliance culture. This role is also responsible for ensuring RFDS VIC fosters and embeds high-quality service standards while meeting obligations and delivering exceptional client experience that is evidence based and outcomes orientated.
In line with RFDS Victoria's mandatory policies, all employees are required to undergo a National Police Clearance, hold a Working with Children Check and have 3 * Covid vaccinations and annual influenza vaccination.
