Royal Flying Doctor Service Victoria

About Us

When people talk about the Flying Doctor, thoughts generally turn to red-bellied planes undertaking rescue missions in the Outback. However, the current Victorian story is one that reflects today's challenges for people living in remote and rural communities across the state. While we do still transport people by air and by road, this work is complemented by a range of primary health services that address the most common issues people living in country Victoria face when accessing health care.

About the Marketing & Fundraising team

Awarded Fundraising Team of the Year in 2022 by the Fundraising Institute of Australia, the RFDSV Marketing and Fundraising team's purpose is to acquire and grow strong relationships to enable the work of RFDS Victoria through meaningful support. We're a collaborative team spearheading strategic fundraising initiatives and everyday operations to raise crucial funds for our cause. From donor acquisition and strengthening our brand, to donor retention and performance management, we are key drivers for growth at the Flying Doctor.

We love to test, learn and innovate. We are team players who love going above and beyond for each other, and our donors. We support the organisation and our team to grow, succeed and contribute positively to better health and wellbeing outcomes in the community.
