Based in Annerley, this position supports the Chief Financial Officer in the overall financial management of Richmond Fellowship Queensland. Responsibilities include financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting and the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures. The Management Accountant reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

You will need:

  • Coordination and preparation of the annual budget cycle, long term financial planning, financial forecasts.
  • Assist the CFO in developing and preparing financial models, scenario planning, assessing new opportunities and financial analysis.
  • Analyse trends in performance for financials and operations across all regions and programs.
  • In conjunction with the CFO, develop financial and operational reports and analysis for the Executive Team, Finance Committee and Board.
  • Be the financial business partner and subject matter expert for other departments and operational teams throughout the organisation, meeting with management regularly to review reports.
  • In addition to significant relevant experience, a degree in accounting or equivalent. Either Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) would be desirable.
