About the Role

We currently looking to fill multiple Permanent Full-Time  Recovery Support Worker positions across our Annerley, Logan and Capalaba offices.

Your next position could be providing evidence-based and recovery-oriented support to people at risk of homelessness, discharged from acute mental health wards and/or supported by community mental health services. You will assist clients to achieve their identified goals and aspirations, provide support with day-to-day tasks and activities and develop professional working relationships with stakeholders to achieve best possible outcomes for clients. Working as part of a wider team, you will have your own client caseload and will be provided with on-the-job supervision on an ongoing basis.

to be successful you will bring the following

  • A degree in a human services related field with at least one year relevant experience, or less formal qualifications with substantial years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness
  • A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a registered roadworthy and insured vehicle (minimum third-party property)
  • Undergo criminal history screening and obtain and maintain a valid NDIS worker screening clearance pursuant to the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld)
  • Willingness and ability to undertake vaccination of preventable diseases that complies with the Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases - Qld Health Policy Directive
