About the Role

As a Support Coordinator, you will support clients to achieve their goals in their Individual NDIS Plans. You will help bring each participants’ NDIS plan to life. You will provide assistance to strengthen participants’ ability to coordinate and implement their supports, assist people to strengthen their informal networks, and coordinate a range of services, including funded and mainstream supports. The position involves an understanding of the NDIS, the role of support coordination, and assists supervisors with their supervisory responsibility, consistent with RFQ’s recovery practice models.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Tertiary Qualifications in social work, psychology, behavioural sciences, and/or a human services related field OR lesser qualifications and demonstrable experience
  • A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity
  • NDIS Workers Screening, or ability to acquire
  • Knowledge and experience in the NDIS
  • Have excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Have demonstrated skills using client information management systems
  • Have the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a registered roadworthy and insured vehicle (minimum third-party property)
  • Smart phone to be used for work purposes.
