The Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation is an independent non-profit entity, dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians through nurturing medical innovation in Tasmania.
Established in 1997, we have worked to bridge government funding gaps to support high-impact medical research projects in Tasmania. We have a deep commitment to nurturing emerging research interests among specialist Tasmanian doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and researchers to seed a thriving ecosystem of research breakthroughs.
The Foundation is seeking an experienced manager of fundraising to join its small and dynamic team. The successful applicant will use expert communication skills and a keen sense of initiative to find fundraising opportunities, develop relationships with potential donors and partners, and manage community fundraising campaigns. By coordinating events, writing proposals, and recruiting and leading volunteers, the role will support the Foundation to achieve its strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, professional, and organised and use contemporary approaches to researching new opportunities and building relationships to further the Foundation’s goals. We’re looking for someone who believes in the mission of the Foundation and has exceptional drive for furthering our fundraising.
The role will operate with a high level of autonomy and would suit a self-motivated, dynamic person with high-level fundraising experience who is able to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Desirable:
We are committed to high standards of workplace health and safety. This role does require some out of hour’s activity to be occasionally conducted at events organised by the Foundation.
