The need-to-know…

Rise is hiring an Assistant Administrator to fill our newly created role within the Aged Care Programs team. Initially, this role will be part-time, working 55 hours a fortnight across Monday to Friday, with the possibility of more hours if the workload increases. Flexibility around start & finish times can be discussed. You will be required to work at various Rise office locations as required, with some working from home.

The Assistant Administrator – Aged Care Programs will be the main point of contact for low touch clients who use Rise services including but not limited to receiving meals & transport. Additionally, this role will provide high quality administrative assistance to the wider team as required.

A typical day might look like…

  • Be the first point of contact for low touch clients.
  • Respond to & action client contact & feedback within agreed timelines.
  • Complete relevant administration relating to low touch referrals including contact with external providers.
  • Escalate issues with clients, scheduling, or systems to relevant staff member.
  • Update existing client records where required & maintain program documentation.
  • Build & maintain working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Accurately enter large quantities of data into relevant ICT systems.
  • Provide high quality administrative assistance to Coordinators such as creating credit notes.

The need-to-have…

  • Administration qualification to at least Certificate III in Business Administration and/or experience in a similar position.
  • Sound computer literacy skills.
  • Well-developed organisational & administrative skills including ability to use initiative & prioritise workload.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow routines & procedures.
  • Well-developed communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to relate effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work, including accurate data entry.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
