The need-to-know…

This role has it all! Sunshine, cushy working hours, work vehicle, tools & equipment provided, and the feeling of making a difference to our aged care clients by supporting them with your green thumb and handy experience. In this position, you will be responsible for undertaking garden and home maintenance on a variety of properties within the community. Tasks in a typical day may include lawn mowing, whipper snipping, weeding, shrub pruning, leaf blowing, sweeping of paths and patios, window, and gutter cleaning.

You will be based working across the northern metro suburbs including Wembley, Innaloo, Hillarys, Mullaloo, Padbury, Balcatta & Joondalup, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm, with the option to take home a Rise vehicle at night, no need to come into the office daily to pick one up!

The need-to-have…

Here at Rise, we nurture potential. But we do need you to have a few tricks up your sleeve including the following:

• General experience in gardening, home, and property maintenance.
• Experience using a variety of garden maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
• Ability to safely bend, kneel and lift correctly to perform duties safely.
• Well-developed communication & organisational skills.

Appointments to this position will be subject to a NDIS Worker Screening Check / requires a driving licence, requires a pre-employment medical assessment.

Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.
