The need-to-know:

Rise is hiring a Support Officer (admin), to join the Scheduling team in their Service Delivery division. This role is full time, working on a hybrid basis with some office-based work in Middle Swan & some working from home. Shifts are across Monday to Friday on a rotating fortnightly roster.

  • Fortnight 1: 6.00am to 2.06pm
  • Fortnight 2: 8.00am to 4.06pm
  • Fortnight 3: 8.30am to 4.36pm

As our newest Support Officer – Service Delivery, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the scheduling team. You will be the first point of contact for Rise staff, volunteers & clients who contact the Scheduling team. You will also provide timekeeping support, assist with purchasing such as creating purchase orders in relevant systems, & receive processing timesheets.

A typical day could look like:

  • Build & maintain positive relationships with Rise clients, staff & volunteers.
  • Actively listen & respond to customer requirements & feedback.
  • Escalate client or system issues to appropriate member of Scheduling team.
  • Maintain records in the client management system.
  • Work with other Support Officers ensuring customer support is available between core hours of the business.
  • Ensure timekeeping periods are in line with Rise Finance Department’s payroll schedule.
  • Liaise between staff & finance to investigate & resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide administrative support including processing invoices, generating purchase orders, & tracking fulfillment with suppliers.

The need-to-have:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration and/or relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
  • Excellent customer service skills, in particular on the phone.
  • Sound computer literacy including using Microsoft products & client management systems.
  • Ability to use initiative, prioritise your own workload, & meet deadlines.
