As one of Rise’s Mental Health Support Workers, you will support people with psychosocial disability, their families, and carers to develop skills and capacity to promote independence in their home and community.
Through a person-centred recovery module approach, your support will enable clients to identify and develop their goals and achieve their unique potential. Whilst maintaining clear and professional boundaries, your mentoring and role modelling will assist individuals to overcome their challenges through their journey of recovery, develop valued roles in their life, build positive relationships and achieve their goals.
A typical day might look like…
Rise currently have multiple part-time positions available, with various shifts across Monday to Friday, working approximately 30 hours a fortnight with the potential of more hours. Working hours are generally between 9.00am and 5.30pm, depending on availability. You will be required to use your own vehicle to travel to clients & will be reimbursed for travel time & kilometres between clients and during a service. Travel between clients will usually be up to 30 minutes, with occasional exceptions.

Appointments to this position will be subject to a NDIS Worker Screening Check / NDIS Worker orientation Module/ Working with Children Check / requires a driving licence and reliable vehicle to use for work purposes.
Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.
