Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Fundraising and Database Coordinator to join our passionate team at Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney, located in Randwick. If you have a knack for maintaining database integrity, optimising systems, and supporting fundraising efforts through accurate and timely data, this is the perfect role for you!
As an essential part of the team, you'll play a critical role in supporting our fundraising, marketing, finance, and operations teams, helping us achieve our mission of supporting sick and injured children and their families.
AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE TEAM, YOU WILL BE:
MANAGING OUR DATABASE BY:
- Overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the Salesforce database to ensure its performance and accuracy.
- Conducting data imports, extractions, and ensuring data integrity through regular audits.
- Supporting our marketing and fundraising teams with data segmentation and reporting for campaigns and donor journeys.
- Providing timely data insights to help inform strategic decisions and improve donor engagement.
SUPPORTING OUR TEAMS BY:
- Delivering training and support to staff across departments on effective database usage and best practices.
- Managing donor information, including invoicing, receipting, and ensuring smooth regular giving transactions.
- Working with our finance team to reconcile fundraising income accurately.
- Collaborating with IT to ensure system functionality and integration with other platforms.
ENSURING DATA-DRIVEN DECISIONS THROUGH:
- Automating reports and dashboards to provide real-time data and insights.
- Supporting the development and evaluation of information system projects to improve data efficiency.
- Managing donor journeys by creating automated processes to enhance donor experience.

- At least 1-2 years of experience working in database management, preferably with Salesforce or similar in a not-for-profit organisation.
