As our Corporate & Community Engagement Manager, you will lead the charge in developing, managing, and growing our corporate partnerships and community fundraising strategy for RMHC VIC & TAS. This role is pivotal in driving revenue and developing partnerships with our community.

Ronald McDonald House Charities is one of the leading Global and Australian children’s charities supporting the ever-changing needs of seriously ill children and their families. In line with its mission, Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania (RMHC VIC & TAS) has dedicated more than 35 years to keeping families closer to their child with a serious illness who require treatment and support across Victoria and Tasmania.

What we're looking for:

As the Corporate & Community Engagement Manager, you will be driving the development of our corporate partnership and community fundraising efforts. You will manage the acquisition, retention, and growth of aligned corporate partners and community fundraisers to generate revenue and support in line with organisational budgets and long-term development goals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Corporate Partnerships:
    • Strategic partnership development to secure new corporate partnerships aligned with RMHC goals.
    • Manage, retain, and grow existing partnerships, ensuring deliverables are met.
    • Achieve financial targets and monitor corporate partnership revenue
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop holistic partnerships that benefit marketing, events, and fundraising.
    • Organise corporate engagement events to enhance relationships.
  • Community Fundraising:
    • Develop strategies integrating digital and traditional fundraising efforts.
    • Implement and manage digital peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns.
    • Establish guidelines and support systems for third-party fundraisers.
    • Oversee the support of community and third-party events.
    • Cultivate relationships with key community groups.
  • McDonald’s Relationship Management:
    • Lead and coordinate efforts related to McDonald’s partnership.
    • Maintain effective communication across departments regarding the partnership.
    • Provide strategic support for joint campaigns with McDonald’s.
    • Develop metrics to measure the partnership’s effectiveness.
  • Team Management and Leadership:
    • Lead by example and foster a productive and engaged culture.
    • Mentor and coach the Partnerships Team.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Who are you?

You are a passionate individual, driven to achieve outstanding results, and inspired by our mission and values. You aspire to develop and lead effective and empowered teams, and champion excellent culture.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline; or comparable work experience, skills, and competencies.
  • Experience in the Not-for-Profit sector.
  • High-level stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Business development or fundraising experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
  • Exemplary time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce).
