In-line with its mission, Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania (RMHC VIC & TAS) has dedicated more than 37 years to keeping families closer to their child with a serious illness who require treatment and support across Victoria and Tasmania.

What we're looking for:

We are seeking a Supporter Experience Specialist to develop and implement strategies that enhance supporter loyalty, increase retention rates, and maximise lifetime value. This role is key to our strategic plan for sustainable growth and long-term community engagement.

This is advertised at a full-time role, but for the right candidate would consider a 0.8 role.

What you'll be doing:

  • Retention Strategy Implementation: Execute data-driven retention strategies to increase supporter loyalty and reduce attrition rates.
  • Stewardship Program Coordination: Coordinate personalized stewardship programs that demonstrate impact and cultivate deeper relationships with our supporters.
  • Supporter Journey Enhancement: Help refine supporter journeys to ensure meaningful touchpoints and positive experiences throughout their relationship with RMHC VIC & TAS.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Analyse supporter data to identify trends, assist with segmentation, and measure the effectiveness of retention and stewardship initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with fundraising, marketing, and program teams to ensure cohesive supporter communication and engagement.

Who are you?

You are a relationship-focused professional passionate about creating exceptional supporter experience. We are looking for someone who is inspired by our mission and actively wants to contribute to the values held by all staff at Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Customer Service, Marketing, Fundraising, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in supporter relations, stewardship, or retention programs in the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making, preferably with Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for storytelling and conveying impact.
  • A creative mindset for implementing innovative retention and stewardship strategies.
