Living Languages provides grassroots training to people, communities and Language Centres in Australia doing language work on the ground in remote, regional and urban areas. We work with people who approach us for support and training, working with them to create tailored training programs and workshops that will best support their language work and goals - whether learning it, teaching it, working in a language centre, or just getting started. Our team works remotely from home around the country and the whole team aims to meet face-to face at least yearly.

Living Languages supports the language maintenance, revitalisation and reclamation work being done on the ground by communities and language centres. We provide training in a range of areas that supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to direct the growth or preservation of their languages - for themselves, led by themselves. See https://www.livinglanguages.org.au/training.

We work with experienced language workers and teachers as well as people that are just starting out on their language journeys, providing training that is most relevant to their wants and needs. Our trainers travel to deliver workshop in communities that approach us for training, as well as through online platforms.
