Language Work Trainer - Flexible location

Living Languages

WHO ARE WE

Living Languages is a training organisation that works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander language workers and communities across Australia. Our team works remotely from different parts of the country with our head office in Melbourne.

Our organisation supports the language maintenance, revitalisation and reclamation work being done on the ground by communities and language centres. We provide training in a number of different areas that assists Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to direct the growth or preservation of their languages - for themselves, led by themselves.

We work with experienced language workers and teachers as well as people that are just starting in their language journeys, providing training that is most relevant to their wants and needs. Our trainers usually travel to deliver training in communities that invite us and approach us for training, but currently a majority of our training has moved to online platforms.
