About the role..

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Exercise Physiologist to join our unique and innovative team!

In this role, you will be managing a clinical case load providing exercise based therapy to guests and community clients who are living with spinal cord injury, and a variety of other neurological and physical disabilities. Beyond traditional therapy, this position offers a unique chance to develop your skills by supporting clients in accessing adaptive recreation activities such as swimming, mountain bike riding, surfing and more.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage a clinical case load, working with guests and community clients with a variety of neurological conditions, primarily those living with spinal cord injury.  
• Clinical based administration tasks.
• Quality and research tasks.  
• Maintain equipment and facilities . 

About you..

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:

Essential Criteria:

• Current accreditation with ESSA.
• Experience working as a part of a multidisciplinary team, ideally as part of a community-based rehab setting.
• Clinical expertise working with people living with spinal cord injuries and other neurological and physical disabilities.
• Demonstrated evidence of relevant professional development and commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Experience in prescribing exercise, strength and conditioning activities for people living with a disability.
• Experience working with compensable clients (inc. NDIS and icare) and/or knowledge of systems involved.
• Working with children’s check.
• Immunisation status clearance.
