This is an exciting and newly created role that will be pivotal in helping shape policies and strategies that will enable this growing allied health peak body advocate to better engage with government and funding bodies. As Senior Policy Advisor you will work closely with their dynamic CEO and bring your deep understanding of the allied health landscape, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities.
To be successful in this role you will need a deep understanding of the allied health and regulatory landscape. Tertiary qualifications (Master’s degree in public health, health policy, social sciences, mental health) or similar related field will be essential. Considerable experience in policy research, analysis and development ideally within allied or mental health together with experience writing policy papers or securing funding for health initiatives is preferred. Exceptional analytical skills able to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable policy recommendations will be your superpower. Tech savvy, you will possess a high degree of competence across multiple systems including any AI assisted programs and analysis tools.
This role will work from home with complete flexibility around days/times. This is an initial 12-month contract role with view to possible extension beyond that period. There may also be scope for future ongoing opportunities within this vibrant allied health association.
Salary is commensurate with experience
